Basic Needle Felting Debra Lacy
One 4-hour class, Sunday 11:00 – 3:00

Learn the art of needle felting while creating a unique 3D
critter. Debra is a professional felter who shows and sells her
work around the Pacific NW, and shares her knowledge with
us so that we may create beautiful works of fiber art as well.
You will not only learn needle felting, but many other “tricks”
of the trade. All materials included in class fee.

ArtFelt No Sew Purse Debra Lacy
One 4-hour class, Sunday 11:00 – 3:00

No experience necessary! If you love to felt, you'll love this
method. No soap and no muscle required. Create beautiful
design using a new felting nethod developed by skacel
knitting. Create a beautiful NO SEW PURSE using EasyFelt
Paper and a felting needle. You will need to do the final
felting phase at home. Once you lean this method, you won't
want to go back to hours of wet agitation!

ArtFelt Silk Ribbon Scarf Debra Lacy

No experience necessary! If you love to felt, you'll love this
method. No soap and no muscle required. Create beautiful

knitting. Create a beautiful SILK SCARF using EasyFelt Paper
and a felting needle. You will need to do the final felting
phase at home. Once you lean this method, you won't want to go back to hours of wet agitation!

ARTFELT Hour Staff
Monthly One hour class Saturday 11:00 – 12:00

Come in for an hour and you'll learn how to ARTFELT
with one of our staff members, using the special paper,
merino roving and felting needles. Instructions will be
given to complete the simple felting process at home. This is a
great activity for groups, parties, and friends to
take together! All materials included in
class fee.

Circular Sock Knitting Machine Susan Forsyth
Two Days, Saturday and Sunday 10:00 – 4:00
November 15 and 16
Bring your antique sock knitting machine and Susan will
gently guide you through the process of getting familiar with
your machine or making your first sock. Know how to
make socks already? Come join in with the rest of the group,
and learn some new tricks of the trade from this talented,
skilled teacher. See materials list. Must have machine or
can rent a machine for $15.00 (there are 2).

Natural Dyeing with Earthues Dyes Nancy Bjerke
Two 4 hour classes Saturday and Sunday 9:00 – 1:00
September 6 and 7
In this introductory class, we will learn the basics of working
with Earthues dyes. The first day will be cleaning and
mordanting, the the second day will be dyeing. This will be a
fun class filled with the “how to” of dyeing, while leaving you
enough leeway to be creative and explore. Dyes, mordants and
soaps are included in the class fee.

Microwave Dyeing With Mother MacKenzie Dyes Margaret Magic
One 3 hour class Thursday 1:00 – 4:00

We will dye silk caps, silk cocoons, and small amounts of
roving and yarn. Bring a glass casserole dish (used) and any
special protein fiber you want to dye.
