The Jane Loom
Designed by a weaver for weavers, this table loom offers exceptional features and performance to make any weaving project a snap.
Jane is offered in two weaving widths, 40cm (15 3/4”) or 70cm (27 5/8”) with standard 8 harnesses. This loom is truly lightweight and portable at only 10.5kg (23lbs) for the Jane 40 and 14kg (31 lbs) for the Jane 70. Jane folds down to a height of only 14cm (5 ½”) for ease of transport or storage.
Jane has been designed after consultation with weavers, while using successful techniques from its predecessor, the Kombo. There is no cord wear, since cords run over rollers and the overhead beater stays out of the way when throwing the shuttle. Jane is made of lacquered beech and has a built-in raddle. The loom is partly assembled and comes complete with a stainless steel reed 40-10 (metric), 200 (Jane 40) or 400 (Jane 70) Texsolv heddles (205mm), tie-up and lease sticks and 16 warp sticks.

Floor Looms
David 70 and 90
Rightly the 'David' among the looms. This compact eight harness floor loom looks modest, but in functional quality it surpasses many large floor looms. Like a counter balance or a jack loom it has a singular tie-up. The shed however gives one the impression of a counter march. All harnesses that are not pulled down by a treadle, are lifted by an ingenious spring system. The spring system also results in easy treadling: once the treadle is pushed down, the weight of your leg is sufficient to keep the shed open. The David has a built-in raddle and shelf. It comes standard with 8 harnesses and 10 treadles, partly assembled and packed in one box. The David is made of lacquered beech and is available in two weaving widths: 70 and 90cm.
Standard included are 800 Texsolv heddles (28cm) for both David 70 and 90, stainless reed 40/10, lease sticks and tie-up sticks, 16 warp sticks and instructions.

Spring 90 and 110
The Spring features the parallel counter march system for harness action and the moving breast beam to control the tension of the warp. The working of these systems will be explained when you click on these words. The special device that attaches harness bars and lams to the Texsolv cord of the countermarch allows exact adjustment of the correct height. The harnesses always stay horizontal when they move up or down. On average, with a counter march you have to make twice the number of tie-ups, compared to a jack loom. On Louët looms however, making or changing tie-ups is very easy. Simply hook on the supplied Texsolv cords, which are pre-cut to the right length. The warp is held by a friction brake, so you can advance the fabric sitting at your loom. The design of the loom includes a built-in raddle on top and a storage shelf. The Spring can be ordered as a kit or partly assembled as a 4, 8 or 12 harness loom with respectively 6, 10 or 14 treadles. It is made of lacquered beech.
The Spring 90 and 110 come with 800 (Spring 90) or 1200 (Spring 110) Texsolv heddles,
a stainless reed 40/10, cross sticks, tie-up sticks and 16 warp sticks, and instructions.

Delta 110
The Delta, the flagship of our looms with treadles, is a loom that like our Spring, thanks its exceptional qualities to the application of the parallel counter march system and moving breast beam. The working of these systems will be explained when you click on these words. The springy tie-up device on the treadles provides a progressive shed. This means the shed widens gradually towards the back harnesses, so that the warp threads above and below in the shed are on even levels. The treadles and footbar hang conveniently at the same level. When the treadles and footbar are too low we have wooden blocks for heightening these. The Texsolv tie-up cords, pre-cut in the right lengths, make changing your tie-ups quick and easy. The Delta is equipped with a treadle for the friction brake device on the warp beam and a convenient advancing handle on the cloth beam. Included is a profiled lath on the breast beam which protects the woven fabric. The hardwood loom is made of ash. Apart from its fine appearance, ash has always been valued for its outstanding qualities of strength and resilience.
