Schacht 4 harness Baby Wolf Loom

Made of hard maple finished with hand rubbed Danish oil. This loom comes fully assembled and folds for easy storage. Includes flat steel heddles, a 12 dent reed, three lease sticks and a maintenance manual.

Another dent reed can substitute for the 12 dent reed. Options include a sectional warp beam with 2 inch sections, the Baby Stroller, and ten treadles instead of six; a Baby Raddle with a special bracket to hold it on the back beam; a Wolf Trap tool holder that attaches to the breast beam; a high castle, double back beam and eight harness model. All options and bench sold seperately.

Schacht High Castle Cherry Jack Loom

Schacht's standard jack loom in beautiful cherry wood with a hand-rubbed Danish oil finish. Two styles are available: standard low castle and standard high castle. The high castle includes a storage tray and swivel pin for an extension lamp.

All looms may be ordered with 4 or 8 harnesses, or a 4 now-4 later setup with 10 treadles and 1,000 heddles. Other features include a back beam which folds with or without a warp; removable back and breast beams, and an adjustable open-sided beater.

The braking system gives you precise tension at all times. Also included is a dent reed size of your choice, flat steel heddles, an 11 inch boat shuttle with bobbin, a red hook and 3 lease sticks. Options include a double back beam and sectional warp beam. This loom arrives to you fully assembled. Just tie on the apron bars and put the heddles on the shaft and you're ready to weave!

Schacht Combby 8 Computer Dobby

The Combby 8 is an electronic and mechanical device that enables an 8-shaft Baby Wolf or Mighty Wolf loom to work as a computer dobby. All existing 8-shaft Wolf looms can be fitted with the Combby 8.

Just connect the mechanism to your computer with astandard cable and plug it into a standard outlet. Many software programs are compatible with this control on either Macintosh or PC operating systems. Your design options are endless with 254 different shaft combinations and no treadling limitations.

Schacht Cranbrook Loom

The Cranbrook loom is internationally recognized for its strength, balance and superb craftsmanship. This loom was originally designed over 60 years ago by Loja Saarinen, the founder of the waving program at the Cranbrook Academy of Art.

An exclusive innovation of the Crabrook loom is the breast and back beam made of powder coated tubular steel, providing added rigidity and better protection for the warp. The octoganal warp and cloth beams are 16.5 inches in circumference, ensuring even tension across. Both beams have canvas aprons.

The cloth beam advance lever is on the inside of the loom frame so the weaver can advance the warp from the front of the loom. The overhead adjustable beater allows a firm beat for rugs. Texsolv loop cords are permanently installed on the treadles and may be tied to upper and lower lams.

Optional accessories include a worm gear, sectional beam, double back beam, suspended tool shelf and tension box rail. Bench sold seperately.

Schacht Tapestry Loom

Tapestry weaving illustrates personal creative imagery. Among the simplest of looms, Schacht's portable tapestry loom holds a continuous warp under tension.

Sheds are formed with the use of heddle bars and string heddles. This loom comes with 4 heddle bars so the weaver can experiment with 4-shaft pattern weaving. The tension beam with thumb screws allows for even tension and easy adjustment. The A-frame stand, beaters and bobbins are sold seperately.

Schacht Wolf Pup Loom

New to the Schacht loom lineup. This is a 4-harness loom you can take anywhere with you. The 18" weaving width is ideal for workshops and for other narrow projects. This loom folds easily into only 16" and has the same sturdy X-frame construction as the Wolf looms.

The Wolf Pup comes with stainless steel heddle bars and reeds, and 300 flat steel heddles. The mini-clipboard on top of the loom gives an eye-level view of weaving diagrams. Most dent reed sizes available.
